Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 14 October 2026

These terms and conditions explain the rules that apply when you use seoyolo.com or buy services from SEO YOLO. A proposal, statement of work or signed agreement can add to these terms and takes priority if it contains a specific conflicting provision.

Who we are

SEO YOLO is a trading name of Josh Willett Consultancy, a French single-member limited liability company (EURL) with share capital of 1,000 euros. In these terms, "SEO YOLO", "we" and "us" mean Josh Willett Consultancy trading as SEO YOLO.

The company is registered with the Annecy Trade and Companies Register (RCS Annecy) under number 105 138 457. Its intra-community VAT number is FR95 105138457. The publication director is Joshua Ian Willett, manager (gérant) of Josh Willett Consultancy. The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States.

Using this website

The website provides information about local SEO, websites, Google Ads, Google Business Profile management, content and related marketing services. Website content is general information. It does not create a client relationship or a binding offer.

You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce harmful code, copy protected material without permission or use the website in a way that breaks the law.

The text, graphics, logos and interface elements on this website remain the property of Josh Willett Consultancy unless stated otherwise. Short quotations with a link to the source page are permitted.

Starting a client engagement

Paid work starts when both parties accept a proposal, statement of work, order or other written agreement. That document sets out the services, price, start date, plan, key assumptions and any work outside the standard plan.

Quotes remain valid for the period stated in the proposal. If no period is stated, a quote remains open for 30 days.

Scope of services

SEO YOLO provides the work listed in the agreed plan or proposal. Services can include SEO, content, website design and development, hosting, maintenance, Google Business Profile management, Google Ads management, social content, reporting and AI search visibility work.

Work that is not listed in the agreement is outside the scope. New requirements, complex integrations, extra websites, extra brands or material changes to an approved direction can require a revised fee and timeline.

Fees and payment

The client pays the fees and any applicable taxes shown on the invoice or agreement. Monthly services are normally invoiced in advance. Separately scoped work can use a deposit, milestone or completion schedule.

Invoices are due on the date stated on the invoice. SEO YOLO can pause work, hosting or campaign management if an invoice remains overdue after reasonable notice.

Google Ads spend and other media budgets are paid directly by the client to the platform unless the parties agree otherwise in writing. Third-party charges are separate from SEO YOLO's management fee.

Monthly plans and cancellation

SEO YOLO plans run month to month unless the agreement states a different minimum term. Either party can cancel a monthly plan by giving 30 days' written notice.

Fees remain payable during the notice period, and SEO YOLO continues the agreed service during that period unless the parties agree a different handover date. Work stops when the paid notice period ends.

Client responsibilities

The client provides accurate information, reasonable access, timely feedback and the approvals needed to complete the work. This can include access to the website, domain, hosting, analytics, Google Business Profile, advertising and social accounts.

The client remains responsible for checking factual claims, prices, service details, legal statements, regulated claims and materials supplied for publication. Delayed access or feedback can move delivery dates.

Approvals and changes

SEO YOLO asks the client to approve material website, content or campaign decisions where the agreement requires approval. Approval confirms that the client accepts the factual content, brand treatment and direction presented.

Reasonable corrections inside the agreed scope are included. A new direction, repeated reversal of approved work or a material scope change can require a new quote.

Ownership of websites and content

Once the relevant invoices have been paid, the client owns the final website, written content and custom assets created specifically for the client, unless the agreement states otherwise. Websites built on the Growth and Authority plans remain with the client after cancellation.

SEO YOLO keeps ownership of its pre-existing tools, methods, templates, code libraries, internal processes and general know-how. The client receives the rights needed to use any such elements included in the final work.

Third-party software, fonts, images, plugins and platform accounts remain subject to their own licence terms. SEO YOLO cannot transfer rights that a third party does not allow to be transferred.

Hosting and handover

Hosting and maintenance continue while they are included in an active paid plan. After cancellation, SEO YOLO provides a reasonable handover of client-owned website files, content and account information once outstanding invoices have been paid.

Domain names and platform accounts should remain registered to the client wherever the platform supports client ownership. The client is responsible for renewal charges after a handover.

Third-party platforms

SEO work depends on services controlled by third parties, including Google, Microsoft, Meta, hosting providers and AI search products. Those providers can change algorithms, policies, prices, access or features without notice.

SEO YOLO is not responsible for a third party's outage, suspension, policy decision or platform change. We take reasonable steps to adjust the work when a material change affects the agreed service.

Rankings, leads and commercial results

SEO YOLO does not guarantee a ranking position, traffic level, number of leads, revenue figure or advertising result. Search engines and advertising platforms are controlled by third parties, and performance depends on competition, demand, the client's offer, budget, website history and sales follow-up.

Forecasts, audits, case studies and examples are based on the information available at the time. They are not promises of a particular commercial outcome.

Confidentiality and data protection

Each party protects confidential information received from the other and uses it only for the agreed work. This duty does not cover information that is public, already lawfully known or required to be disclosed by law.

Each party complies with the data protection duties that apply to its role. The privacy policy explains how personal data collected through the website is handled.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or for fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to that rule, SEO YOLO is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of anticipated savings, loss of opportunity or loss caused by a third-party platform. SEO YOLO's total liability for a claim is limited to the fees paid for the affected service during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim.

The client maintains suitable backups, security controls and business continuity arrangements for systems and data under the client's control.

Suspension and termination

Either party can end the agreement immediately if the other commits a serious breach and does not fix it within a reasonable period after written notice, becomes insolvent or acts unlawfully in connection with the services.

SEO YOLO can suspend work where payment is overdue, required access is withdrawn, continued work would break the law or the client asks for activity that breaches a platform policy.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when the services, suppliers or legal requirements change. The date of the last revision is shown at the top of the page. Changes to an active client agreement apply only where the agreement allows them or the client accepts them in writing.
